My Silver Smoker's door isn't just perfect and might have been tweaked in the box at Home Depot. I thought putting a gasket around the inside of the door would help seal it and make it easier to maintain a constant temperature. I was just hoping someone else had this idea and I could borrow...
Any advice for fastening the gasket around a door on a Silver Smoker? I was thinking about using the Rutland Adhesive Cement and gluing the gasket to the door itself, any suggestions or opinions? Should I use some metal clips or some other way of fastening besides the adhesive? I would...
I just finished assembling my Silver Smoker and noticed the lid on the grill wasn't just hunky dory either. It got tweaked out of round and square in the box. I am going to live with it. Does anyone know if the Rutland's silicone sealant or gasket adhesive will hold the gasket rope to the...

Being an ex-Marine and "Rifle Expert?" I tend to go the way of my RWS 34 Scoped .177 Air Rifle. It is a blast to shoot sparrows. I don't normally shoot barn swallows; but if they are pests so be it. Semper Fi.
Semper Fi, I am new to cooking, let alone smoking. I used a homemade refrigator smoker (propane fired) up in South Dakota where I used to live to do up some deer snack sticks and Polish Sausages for me and some buddies. I had a friend from Nebraska sell me some seasoning mixes that worked...
