    Masterbuilt Gravity Feed

I finally convinced the better half and pulled the trigger on this one. The reason for posting is to inform that Home Depot will assemble the MB Gravity Feed Smoker for free. I have to wait a few days, but it probably would have taken that long for me to assemble in my spare time. That plus...

    Pellet grill

I agree with tx smoker.....I got the my pellet grill for the convenience of not having to baby sit a long cook and it's great for that, but there's not enough smoke taste for me. I've even tried the mazes and tubes for more smoke, but they use pellets also. Go figure. My pellet is great for...

    Food grater

I've got the hand crank. Easy to clean and it has to be smaller than the electric....unless you already have a KitchAid, then all you have to do is buy an attachment.

    Masterbuilt Gravity Feed

I would ask if you wanna sell it, but with the shipping problems, I'll get one from a box store. Walmart is $2 cheaper @ $497.

    Food grater

Go for it! The spiralizer is actually the smallest of all that I mentioned.

    Dang, I'm hungry!!! Looks delicious!

    Food grater

I could use one, but where to put it? The spirilizer, mandolin, food processor, Ninja Foodi, quick pot, electric roaster, air fryer, et al, are taking up all cabinet space.:emoji_laughing:

    Masterbuilt Gravity Feed

I haven't been here in a L-O-N-G time, but wanted to see what was thought about the MB Gravity Grill. Although I love the ease of my Pit Boss pellet grill I also am disappointed in the amount of smoke I get from the it, even after adding A_MAZE-N tray and tube to cooks. I was on the fence...

    Maze/tube plus pellet grill

Thanks, dirtsailor and smokin218. I've used both even at the same time. My fire pot is in the middle and I've put them on the opposite end of my chimney figuring the smoke would distribute better instead of rising straight up out the chimney. I guess I'll try near the drip tray which is under...

    Maze/tube plus pellet grill

I didn't want to hijack a thread so I'm asking if anyone has experience using a pellet smoker plus the A-MAZE-N tube or maze? The two times I've tried it with my new Pit Boss 820 have been unsuccessful. The first try I turned the grill on after the tube was ignited for almost ten minutes and...

12-14 lbs turkey Pellet grill/smoker temp?

@mark-ct: I'll try it again I guess but on my second try with the maze, it smoked for a full two hours until I turned on the unit...the the maze extinguished.

12-14 lbs turkey Pellet grill/smoker temp?

Mark, I love smoke and my new Pit Boss pellet grill wasn't giving me enough on some smoke and sear chops so I used my tube smoker and set my Pit Boss to Smoke. The tube kept going out. Next try on some chicken quarters, I put the tube (actually the maze this time) in the smoker and didn't...

Hopper cleanout mod for PitBoss 820FB?

Thanks, guys!  This is the info I wanted to hear.  I'll keep my new grill covered and under an overhang all add pellets as needed.  Now that our record rains are gone, I'm going to do some smokes this weekend! rd

Hopper cleanout mod for PitBoss 820FB?

Thanks, bregent. Here in Austin, we just got some 40 mph for 4 days and a lot of rain, but the flooding is east of us, as close as 30 miles and as far as 200.  Two of my favorite coastal towns, Port Aransas and Rockport got leveled though. Pray for those people and the folks around Houston...

A-MAZE-N Pellet Smoker pellets dont stay lit.

Sorry to reply to this so long since the original post, but Maze goes out consistently half-way through the cook.  I can turn it around and re-light and finish my smoke, but I have discovered this several hours into the smoke.  Also, I probably should have replied...

Hopper cleanout mod for PitBoss 820FB?

I just bought the above-mentioned pellet smoker and have to wait to cure and use it until Hurricane Harvey passes so I don't have water-infused pellets melting and drying and stopping up the auger feed system.  It's in my garage with no pellets in the hopper.  That leads to the question of...

Pit Boss 820 FB question RE: PID controller

Thanks, y'all!  You confirmed my suspicions.   bregent, I was referring to temp swings.  I should have been more specific.   Thank you both for your response. rd

Pit Boss 820 FB question RE: PID controller

Howdy! I just bought a Pit Boss 820FB Pellet Smoker.   Question:  If the onboard temp controller isn't within 10-20 degress tolerance and I have an Auber PID controller, is it adaptable for the Pit Boss configuration, or would I need to get a PID Controller specifically for the pellet smoker...

Thanks for the ideas TallBM and Uncle Tork.  Al, I looked at your rib recipe and fudged a bit.  I generally don't at sauce to my meat during cooking. rd
