Could use a touch of help...Ok.....smoker steady at 230 with turkey and 3 racks of ribs in. Took a while to get temp steady with all the meat but now not really smoking. Is something wrong or just takes a while to smoke again after adding the ribs and getting temp back up? Help appreciated?
New to smoking. Bought the 31" GOSM from WalMart and seasoned it. After a week of rain delay tomorrow will be the first smoke...a 12 pound turkey and 3 racks of spare ribs. Sounds like an awesome fathers day to me!!! Oh yeah....the cooler of cold beer will help. I'll be sure and post some QView...
Just got a Landmann GOSM. Seasoned it. Has rained every day!!!!! Father's day for the old man plan to smoke a turkey (frozen not fresh kill....gonna inject instead of brine as it wont be defrosted until right before cooking time) and some ribs. I know ribs gotta go low and slow around 225 or so...
Going to pick up the GOSM medium. Was $148 on walmart.com....lowered to $130 after I ordered. Called them and they gave me a $32 refund so $116 plus free shipping to store. Ordered it online on Sunday and it arrived today...5 days total. It seems some folks do ok with the chip box and others go...
