    What gauge wiring do these units use going to the element? May be worth having some high temp wire ready just in case.

    My inside is approx 15 1/4" w by 12 3/4" deep. Rack is approx. 14 3/8 w by 11" up to the back curve.

    I wonder if the 1200w element would fit in the MES 30 without tearing out the shroud. My 30" has the 700w.

    It was pretty new at the time! I still foil the 2 parts to help make it easier to clean. Since the picture was taken I added a piece of angle aluminum to support the left side of the pellet tray.

    I dont use the water pan so I can put mine here or on the bottom shelf over the chip try location.

    It's my understanding the GFI's do wear out. I dont use one with my MES since its out of the weather.

    Damm! Looks great. Always impressed at how clean the widow stays. My 30" starts clean but doesnt stay clean very long during the cook.
