Try "searching"..I know I saw somewhere on here where it was rolled out flat , like with a rollin' pin, then stuffed, rolled up and put on the grill. I haven't done one yet but have been looking into it. :-)

Good luck!! I have never competed but looked into it and decided I'd rather cook for friends and family than for judges. My observations and discussions with folks at the Jack Daniels World Invitational has enlightened me. Blind draw of judges to go with a blind draw of competitors translates ...
Will do Still need to go into the sides in a couple places with some piping and valves to try to control the air flow to the fire. Actually using this one as my model..may turn it back to horizontal and use my other barrel for this project but do plan to cook at least once on this as a smoker...

The fire pan and water pan are just laying in the bottom in those pics and the thermos were close to zero..that why I quit working on it.
Haven't come up with what to sit it on yet...had it sitting on the table just to get it up to make it easier for my old self to work on...as far as...

Yep..He's about 20 miles away from me..more famous for his sauces than his Q around these parts...and the Dreamland that's on the list has 3 locations....Tuscaloosa is the one to go to. Surprised Mikeska's BBQ in Texas isn't on the list...hell even the state legislature proclaimed "Mikeska's"...
I do use one of those chimney starter thingys of charcoal to get things started but do use wood after that, and mine don't have wheels. Brinkman Gourmet Cooker here so I can't use big logs...and get the brake dust cleaned up on the Jeep.
Got um @ .88/lb at Southern Family Mkt. up here in Huntsville...and you being in Ala., check the Coors Light Display for the rebate coupon for meat...no purchase necessary..$10 rebate for $20 purchase...brings it down to .44/lb (minus the .41 stamp)
