    You can buy a nice used Mathews to get started...Mathews and Hoyt technology is hard to beat. I have an old Mathews Q2 that i bought 3 years old with everything on it (rest, site, stabilizer, quiver mount) for $250 when i bought my first bow. Now i have moved up..but the big 2 are expensive...

    I disagree with the red hot part...i have a weed burner and this stuff is invincible. Maybe mines differnet but this stuff is TOUGH. I had that mother red hot and it didnt burn it off. I have spent a couple hours with a wire wheel on the grinder. I think i inhaled more of the damn liner...

    Yes they are...i have been fighting one for 3 burnouts now...and 12 pallets. Still quite a bit of liner in it. I gave up. Got a new barrel and now i lost all ambition after the failure caused by the liner.

    Doh! Right after i posted this i had a revaletion...it was a fatty! I found it...it was BBQ Engineer's "Hot Legs" that he made for his Buffalo Chicken Fatty. Im gonna use that rub mixture this weekend!! Here is the thread if you dont remember it...that chicken looks awesome...

Which really is a tradgedy...just like the American Elm (Dutch Elm Disease)...and American Chestnut (chestnut blight). Its too bad these things happen.     Yep, i have soaked bass in milk a couple times. Bluegill i dont think usually are too fishy. Use whole milk or buttermilk. Works well
