No , they are not , I tried them and I hated the way they turned out.
I just like field cukes , of coarse firm and hard, and to the size for what you are going to use them for.

Yes that was a great meal, and many different things can and did get made this way with the sliced potatoes. And a fun build also.

Something I have not tried yet, more of a melted in or on the food kind of cheese people.
But I should at least try some for cheese balls or similer once I get back to some smoking time.
