Great looking jerky Steve! I got 5.5 lbs ready to go into the dehydrator in a few hours.
It seems we’ve been on the same jerky wavelength lately, because we’re always making it around the same time lol.
That looks outstanding Jed! I never tried black garlic and often thought of making my own but I can’t get my head around the idea of leaving my dehydrator run for weeks.
I love everything that you made, excellent job!
Nice looking jerky Brian, there’s nothing like making your own. I alternate between whole muscle and ground. I could go for some like yours after seeing yours. Very nicely done.
That’s some amazing work by both Bear Jr. and Bethany.
I’m sad to read this Bear, you were one of the first people to mentor me when I joined up, looking on how to smoke for the first time.
It was an honor and a pleasure to know you. Take care John.
We have Primo’s around here, They’re based out of Philly/NJ area but I’m not sure how widely available they are.

Feel better Steve! I felt crummy when I got out of work yesterday and fell asleep before 8, feeling better already…had plans to watch the cfb championship game. Looks like I didn’t miss much.
All of those chuck meals looks friggin fantastic CS!! I couldn’t choose one so I’ll have some of each. The marsala gravy and serrano lime dressing sound awesome, and it’s enough variety that each meal feels totally different! Excellent job!!
Interesting idea on the potato filling, David. It will be interesting to see that old recipe evolve. I grew up on something called Stoverags or Lokshe. It was basically leftover mashed potatoes combined with flour, kneaded into a dough and then rolled out thin like a tortilla. Browned on both...
I can’t flip an egg without the likelihood of it breaking, especially in a pan. I need a big ass griddle with a lot of elbow room.
Can’t snap my fingers worth a damn either.
Aw man Ray, would I love some of those!! No matter how much of a pain those were to make, I bet they were worth it in the end!
It don’t get much better than shrimp and lobster ravs! Very nicely done!!
