used to go to Mcsorley's often when out of college. That was back in the day when they had only one unisex bathroom. Loved getting the cheese, cracker, onion and mustard platter.
I am a driverable distance to NYC and still never go. To me it is only a PIA blocking me from getting out of town. My daughter works a couple days a week very close to Rockefeller....not me.

The last Sicilian pie I ordered with half onions and half meatball was $34, I never said they were cheap...lol I still have to say Costco large slice for $1.99 is the best deal out there.
Here in lower NY I can't believe Domino's, Papa John's even exist. There are so many pizza places owned by Brooklyn transplants that make incredible pies.
