I think I have the same smoker if its the charcoal version. Out of the box I was frustrated.
Had a very hard time temperature control. I did some simple mods. Air control, lid gasket and new temp gauge.
Im having a much easier time now.

Smoked 2 five lb pork shoulders this weekend. I put about 4 hours of smoke on them and then
gave them the texas crunch and finished them in the oven at 250 to an IT 200. Rested them and
