    Thank you J! Thanks John! I'm loving the versatility of this thing! It'll do a hot n fast, direct heat smoke, like the BB ribs I did a few days ago...it'll do a lower-heat, indirect smoke with the heat shield in place...and it'll do high-heat gilling and searing as well as my Weber Kettle...

    Thanks Buddy! Thanks Keith! Yeah I have enjoyed most of the YT videos that feature Hasty Bake grills too. Yep! Close up all the vents, and lower the coal basket all the way down to the ash pan, and it snuffs out the fire in practically minutes. Red
