    Flipping over the element in a MES40 - another possible mod?

    So did you end up making this mod?  How did it turn out?  Was there enough room at the bottom of the box on the back to attach the wires to the element leads?

    Depends on where you live and how much you want to spend - someone back in the town I grew up in (Huntington, Indiana - hometown of Dan Quayle) has a used one listed on craigslist for $300.  If interested, check in the Fort Wayne, IN page (i'd like to it, but not sure if that's allowed).

    Has anyone ever tried to use smoked peppers?  Say, smoke some habs for a few hours at 130-140* (so it just softens them up but gives them plenty of smokey goodness) and pop them into this recipe?
