I'm with you most nights get 0-3 hours of sleep maybe once a week I'll get about 6 not all at once but total for the night. Mine is more health related so not by choice haven't slept for over 3 hours straight in years usually more like 1-1.5 hours at a time

Many plants like people slow down as they age. We have some strawberry plants that are about 6 years old they barely produce anything but when we grow the runners they produce we get plants that produce like the mother plant did the first year it was planted.
Short answer is no you don't have to take it to any set temperature since it is cured.
You can certainly put the amps in and let the temps be what the temps will be. I think I would try to move the smoker into the shade if it isn't already.

Do you look at the Results if you did you would see there are two winners. One winner is decided my the members votes. The other is by Judges using a defined way of Judging and there are two different winners every time
I would have no problem burning that personally but you have to make up your own mind about it. Maybe burn a little in a firepit or something and see how it burns and how it smells then decide. As I said I'd burn it in my stick burner
If you split it while green it will season faster and more even. That is starting to rot but personally I would try burning some and see how it burns.
