I'd also add you might want to look into making a charcoal basket and perhaps a ball valve to help help with air getting to the charcoal. I looked on the eBay site and couldn't see what this unit has for air intake..,
The stores I frequent all have TQ for less than $6! I asked the salesman of my local restaurant supply and I can buy a case of 12 for $48...

A-maze-n tube smoker. You'd want the tube not the tray for this. I'm not sure if the sale is still going on but they were 20% off with free shipping. You'd probably want a couple of bags of pellets to try also. I mostly use the 12" one...
If you are going to be smoking in that a lot if suggest you look into getting an amnts and some pellets! It will put out perfect smoke for hours... I use mine at one of my jobs and when I cold smoke at home...

Thanks David! Kiawe is the primary smoke wood here. I also use guava and ohia sometimes as well.
