Tough call. I would just as soon the family didnt buy me gifts. One year I sent a list of charities I want donations sent to. Kinda works kinda didnt.
Gift cards can be lame but one for a rub and sauce place, a local BBQ shop you frequent, for the smoker brand you have.
Grill Grates for...
I picked up a rescue starter from one of the guys on here...so thats all I know. it took longer than I expected, but jumping into SD is an adventure. Not like any other bread making I have done, but totally worth it
I bought a dehydrator for jerky, that has been going pretty well.
Curious what else you guys dehydrate. Ive read up and looks like you can dry pretty much anything, but what is a good snack or good to dry and have on hand.
Funny you say that. I made a few batches of sliced EOR on my pellet. Never really liked the final product enough. Not bad but not great.
Bought a dehydrator and have started making ground beef jerky in it. Liking it much more. Easier on my crap teeth too.
Keep us posted! I have never made pickles or pickle jalapenos. But both sounds great. Looked up Als recipe. Maybe this winter i'll give one or both a shot.
Did the mix with 85% and 96% using the LEM backwoods and some red pepper flakes, overnight rest. 4 hours at 165 - turned out great!
