You bring tears to my eyes with that pic'. I'm just getting into smoking and have the ECB with all the bells and whistles (read that as mod's). It is almost something you fall in love with. I am thoroughly enjoying it.
Great lookin' stuff, Todd. I happened to run across a recipe I am going to try (don't remember what now), but it also called for Tiger Sauce. I remember using it years ago, so its not new. Luckily we have a high end (translate to high prices) grocery that carries it. It is not really a hot...
Okay, not much to show in the Q-View, but I still can't seem to remember to get out the camera. The view of the 2 ABT's is after I pulled the leftovers from the fridge. This was my first attempt and it was a complete success. I measure success by whether my wife likes what I smoke. She...
Okay, new guy, you need to update your profile so we all get to know you. I'm Dean and I'm somewhat of a newbie, too. Lots of good knowledge and information here.
Welcome aboard the ship....this one just smokes right along.
Take a few minutes to go in and update your profile so we can all get to know you better. I'm from the Phoenix Valley, so there aren't a lot of big ships docked here.

With that avatar and username, you sound like a car guy....DUH!! I am one so I'm glad to run into another on the forum. I assume that is what you drive? I have a '69 Camaro convertible.
I sure miss the forests of Oregon.....not many in the Phoenix Valley. I dream of manning a smoker in the woods and fly fishing during temperature checks of the smoker. Lived in Hillsboro for 10 years.
"May the bird of paradise fly up your nose!!!"
I took off right after I read your post and headed to the Fry's about a mile from the house. Bottom line: $16.53 total cost for 13.55 pounds of pork butt. That comes out to $1.22 per pound. Thanks a lot for the heads-up.
Okay, I took some pic's of my last "Tweeks" to my UECB. As you will see, I haven't tried to work on beauty, but function.
This is a picture of the flagstone chips I put down on my top paver to center the charcoal pan. The black paint on the rectangular stones are there to provide a target for...
