Its interesting, cause RecTec boasts a duel band receiver on all their grills. Every time the app updates, my grill has issues. Just a few days ago the app updated and when I went to use the grill a couple days back....the app constantly says the gill is offline...
Yeah, so I always just thought it was a thing. Condiment options always were, ketchup, mustard, mayo & fry sauce. Its not the healthiest option...but my childhood would not have been the same without it.
I have no experience with it. Some reviews are very good if that means anything. Its half off right now if that means anything either.

Another vote for RecTeq. While they do have some smaller smokers in that price range...if you'd bump that up you'd get a lot more smoker for the money. You can only do what you can do though.
PS, customer support with RT is fantastic.
Civil!! I remember that BB post you did....but the rack of pork I must have missed. It looks amazing. You source local right? Can I just go to a butcher and ask for a rack like that? I've seen lamb that way but never pork.
Interesting. I always take it off. Always. But now that I think about it, I haven't done a back rib that didn't come from Costco, and their back ribs come with the membrane off. Spares come with it on, but the spare ribs tend to come off easy.
Well, there are a lot of factors. Including the quality of the cut and how you prepare / smoke them. It might be that they were on sale cause they're kinda crappy ribs. Back ribs tend to be leaner. They'll be tender if prepared right...with the caveat that nothing you can do will make a poor cut...
Lol....thats a rib question lots of people ask themselves. I'm with you I really like the spare ribs. Some people like a leaner rib, so there's the back rib but I have no idea why its more expensive!!
Given the above discussion, here is a review of knife sharpeners. Guys YouTube channel is ProjectFarm, for those that know him. Really good guy for tool reviews.
