    Loving Retirement!!

    Retied at 66, in 2013. Only regret is not going on cruises before the las 6 years. Really enjoy them. Heading back to Hawaii in 48 days (but who's counting).

    Agree, Amazon bags are junk. Never got pre-made from them, just rolls. By the time you get half way through the roll, they are wrinkled, and makes sealing a real challenge. I've had good luck with VacuumSealersUnlimited. Less than FS as well.

    Thanks for the info, but... I had looked at the Lem briefly, but didn't like that drip tray was not removable. Also looked at the roll in a box things. Seemed like it would be more work having both ends unsealed, and trying to line one end up with the sealer in the machine.

    Wasn't quite sure where to put this, but I had and "idea" about making filling the bags easier and less mess for liquidy (new word?) items. So, went looking for a wide mouth funnel with a long bottom to fit down in the bag, so sides would stay clean. No luck, but stumbled across this on Amazon...

    We have become desert rats. Like it warm. Temp set at 79 inside. Cool day today, only suppose to hit 89.
