Having trouble getting wood to start smoking.

I almost forgot the original question. What's the best way to get wood smoking in a propane smoker set to around 200 - 215? Thanks.

Having trouble getting wood to start smoking.

Phil, This sausage is homemade with no preservatives by an old lady whose been doing it for a long time. I told her you said 210 deg. was "WAY to (sic) hot" and she said you don't know what you're talking about. Those were her words, not mine, Phil, so don't get mad at me. :) She's a real...

Having trouble getting wood to start smoking.

Hey, I'm using a Masterbuilt Pro Dual Fuel and am using propane. I want to smoke some homemade sausage and have a nice steady 210 deg. temp in the box and was told to shoot for 160 - 165 internal temp on the sausage. But I can't get the wood smoking at 210. Masterbuilt pro dual fuel problem

Do you folks think the regulator is bad? 300 deg. at the lowest setting seems to say so. I think I'll call Masterbuilt and see what they say. How is there customer service?

I figured out how to get a low temp. on the this Masterbuilt Pro Dual Fuel. Instead of using the lowest setting on the lower right, I ran the temperature adjustment knob past the high setting to the almost all the way off position, upper left, and ended up with a 210 deg. temp. and it was...

    Masterbuilt pro dual fuel problem

Hi, I just got the Masterbuilt Pro Dual Fuel smoker sold by Home Depot. The propane regulator doesn't regulate very well. At the lowest setting I'm right at 300 degrees. I know others here have had the problem. Has anyone talked to Masterbuilt about what seems to be an all too common...
