Good luck in it. I did some cured yurkey legs last weekend and finished with a pineapple mango teriyaki glaze thrown together from jam from a local farm matket. That came out amazing so I understand the mango crave. A little pepper flavor would have been great in there but the wife would...
In that case you could try the juice/brine from a jar of sliced jalapenos and cut the salt if any a bit. I use it in other marinades, and like the flavor it imparts, it just doesn't taste like fresh jalapeno unfortunately. Or if you can get your hands on jalapeno oil, give that a shot. I...
I've played with a few recipes from www.jerkyholic.com. I've tried several kinds from there, and his teriyaki beef II (more of a home made teriyaki flavor than bottled) and garlic black pepper are my favorites so far, but his chili lime recipe also has a good flavor to it, and sounds more like...
Congrats for him C farmer! I really wish I had had the farm upbringing that my pop had as he was pretty hands off on passing any of it to me. I envy your son 128513. Warren, you can include us for paper towels. We will be grabbing a big bulk pack at sams before we head up.
I think I am to, once I have wifely permission to spend more on toys. The reviews on the Tappeque just seemed a little too off putting about the difficulty in network set up, and I'm no idiot when it comes to IT. Gotta make it simple and intuitive if you want everyone to buy it though. I'm...
I thought the bluetooth models were a bit simpler than that so I never dug deeper because I wanted the range of wifi. Thanks for clearing that up though, it might be nice to have one on hand for home smokes to extend the life of the expensive wifi sets.
I've looked into this myself, and I will eventually get one, but by app enabled I assume you mean wifi, not just bluetooth. The two that I found promising were Fireboard and Tappecue 2.0 which is on amazon as a prime item. They are a bit costly but both have fairly positive customer reviews.
I just wanted to give a heads up, I searched for lumberjack pellet dealers nearby and actually found one in Leola. I know I checked before, so I'm not sure they have just become a licensed dealer or missed them the first time around, but I'm getting an order together through email over the next...
One 30 minutes north of us. Would a single membership let my wife or I in separately, as in could she make the trip in my place if she is off or do I need a family membership for that?
I just bought a truck this weekend, and if I can get some simple repairs done between now and October, and get it stickered, my grill may yet make it up there. Grabbed two coolers this weekend for drinks and food as well, so we likely won't miss this unless something big comes up. My wife...
Ah, you didn't check the walmart site and specify pick up in store? Bummer. Best price local to me for the SE is from walmart at 344. I wish I had those options before I ordered my STX.
