    Boat rebuild

Trial run but I hated, so sanded down a repainted like the last Pic of previous post Way too dark. Getting the stencil right on a inverted surface sucked. More to come when I get a chance!

    Boat rebuild

Boring stuff, but necessary. Epoxy (really heavy where the voids were) plus dammed up on the transom edges multiple times. When I did the transom, every hole was drilled twice the original size and filled with epoxy. So if it was a .250 hoke, I drilled it out to .500. That way, I can still...

    Boat rebuild

I did something similar with my last build. It was a 22' Bluefin with a center console that I tore out and made up dual consoles and a walk through windshield! LOL, just the opposite of your buddy! I did not go the aluminum floor route though. It was rather pricey and at the time I couldnt...

    Boat rebuild

It is riveted, the boat has always been dry even with a full day on the water, but I plan on sealing the rivets before the flooring goes in. When I dug out all of the original foam, a lot of it was water logged. Hell, once I got the deck off and the foam dug out, it lightened the boat up so...

    Boat rebuild

Ive used closed celled pool noodles in the past and plan to use them on this one for flotation. I use to have a formula for the amount of buoyancy per foot of the noodles, but that was like 12 years ago! I just fill it up and dont crowd it too tight now. I TOTALLY get the whole OCD thing! I...

    Boat rebuild

So I figured a few of you might enjoy this. I needed to upgrade the Ole 1987 bass tracker. There were some rotten spots on the seats, hatches etc and I'm sure the transom was due, so I tore her apart and started over! Been working on it when I have a moment or two. Removed all flooring...

    Safe or naw?

So I know a guy that set 2 strip steaks out to thaw from the deep freeze around 530-600 last night. Vacuum seal bag. He then went to the local high school football game and forgot about them being in the sink when he got home. Then remembered them this morning around 830-900 and he put them...
