By the time I season the meat for grilling, and then have the flavor of the smoke and such from the grill, little to no difference. However, if talking stew and roast, I do notice a difference although somewhat slight.

The Academy site just refers to the grinder as the LEM #8. Not a Big Bite. 2 year warranty versus 5; grinds 240 lbs per hour versus 420 lbs per hour for the Big Bite 8. Academy price for the LEM #8 is $379. At LEM it is the #5 $349. The Big Bite #8 at LEM is $399. Buyer beware!

The LEM Big Bite grinders have a 5 year warranty; Academy says 2 year. The grind per minute - 4 lbs - is for a Big Bite 5, not the 8 which is 7 lbs per minute. I think Academy has made an error. A phone call from a prospective buyer might clear it up. It may or may not be a Big Bite (which...

    Power is out...again!

No power is more than inconvenient, it is a real pain. We sometimes go through outages during our summer monsoon season. Oil lamps in the house come in handy. Can still cook on the grill or light the stove top with a match. Batteries for the radio. And a book to read to pass the time.

From the NKJV: But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

I have read stories or testimonies about those who have experienced the afterlife. I take them seriously. I take the Word more seriously. We have, in the Bible, 3 destinations. Heaven and Hell are for all eternity. Then there is Hades. Some translations explain what the difference is between...

So, God created all in 6 days and rested. Light on day one.Jump to day 3 - flora and fauna for food. Likely not just created but created in full maturity, in preparation for man. Day 4 - lights in the sky and in all likelihood, no matter how many light years away God placed these lights, He...

I am a Christian. Although raised Catholic and baptized as an infant, I was baptized on Easter 2022 at the age of 71, immersed in front of the congregation. I am a firm believer that the Bible is the Holy Word of God. As such, I do believe in Heaven and Hell. And I believe (actually I KNOW)...
