That's funny!
I couldn't help myself..... I am having my kids help me to smoke one of the pork sirloin roasts I have.
They are having a blast, and I get to use my smoker while teaching the kids how to BBQ. Win win if you ask me!

Hello y'all! Does anyone else have a problem with always thinking about what your going to smoke? All week while I'm at work I can't seem to stop thinking about meat and smoking meat. I now look forward to weekends because of all the smoking that I'll be doing and end up thinking about it all...
Just got back from the store, they were having a sale so I grabbed some meats to smoke.
Got a brisket flat 4.5#
Some country style ribs
Couple of half breast chicken
A bunch of drumsticks.
Gonna fire it up either tonight or tomorrow morning early. Can't wait for the brisket!
4.5 pound pork butt
Smoked for 11hrs. At 230-250.
Until 205f.
Rested 1 hr. Then pulled and enjoyed!
Enjoyed it at work today and will be again tomorow!

Good morning! I've been up for a little while tending my smoker and just thought I'd pass some time. I'm sure there are others doing the same, so I thought I'd try my hand at a little guessing game.
I'm not giving any clues because I'm sure everyone here can guess correctly without any.
I'm...
8:00 - Moved to kitchen for more rest.
9:00 - Removed foil cover. Bone came right out so I knew it would be tender and moist.
Total smoke time at 225-235f was 9 hrs.
2 hr. Rest
I made this for tomorrow so it can blend flavors overnight in the fridge but had to try a piece and it is...
6:45 - internal temp has reached 199.5f mopped with more sauce re covered and put back in the smoker for 15 minutes then turned off the smoker leaving the door shut to keep the heat in.
I'll leave it in there for an hour or so to rest, then it's into the kitchen for more rest.
