1) a trick I learned .... Or what I do is after I put the shoulder on the smoker is add a 1/2 inch layer of brown sugar on the top of the shoulder.
I do this after the shoulder is set in the smoker because otherwise the sugar falls off.

When my wife makes me sell something (Kegerator) I just try to sell it for what it's worth to me(way to much)

For the last few months I have been smoking jerky and pulled pork, I have been making some $ along the way... About 100-150$ a month. It's not a lot but I love doing it .
