27 degrees and lake effect snow at the moment here. I just picked up about 70 pounds of different cheeses yesterday for smoking this weekend. I do it for friends. I'll be posting pics once I get going on it...

    STORE BOUGHT RUBS

I like Twisted Q Crooked Pig. I get it at my local Wally Mart... Normally I use Plowboys Yardbird rub, which I get off Amazon. This stuff is good though and people seem to like it whenever I use it.

    Sometimes its the simple things

You are 100% correct on that. As I grow older, it seems I prefer simple time way more often. I have enough to focus on with work and such most days. I'd rather just sit and watch a fire and chat with the better half to unwind. Looks like you had a real nice evening....

    MORE HOT SAUCE

I put sauce on just about everything. I love it. Some of them out there are way too much heat, so much that they really have no flavor. One that has the heat but you can still taste are the ones that I like. Congrats on success...

Dang fine looking plate!!! Like you, my wife and I rarely get to a bar, but I'll stop by to pick wings up occasionally for convenience. If I have the time, they're getting done on the grill. I like them grilled better than deep fried anyway. Yours look mighty tasty!!!

    Double stacked pretzel sliders

Those sliders look killer! I love the pretzel buns and I agree that usually they are missing something. Never occurred to me about the salt, but makes perfect sense now that I think about it... That is FINE looking plate right there!!!
