    I used bearcarvers bacon recipe. 1 tbs of tender quick and 1 tbs of brown sugar per lb. I got the pork belly at costco already sliced into these 6 hunks. Was 5.29 lbs total. I'm thinking that with the increased surface area maybe 9 days might be too long. We shall see. Ch

    Light brown sugar white sugar and cayenne pepper. I put about 3 tbs Ina big ziploc and tossed one piece of bacon shake and bake style. Rinse and repeat. 325 degrees for 35 minutes Ps. I love my rectec Ch

    Here it is. 2 hours or so.. at 230.. ramped up to 350 when it was 130 internal. Pulled off the grill when 140. Goodnight folks. #bestcookinginventionever Ch

    My wife has a couple friends over so I went to costco and bought 2 nice tri tips. Covered in Jeffs TX steak rub. Gonna smoke at 230 till up to temp. Maybe crank it up at the end for a Lil sizzlie. I'll take more pics as I go. Ch

    holy smokes. . Had 7 people over and 7 said it was the best. The gd pork butt took all damn day. 13 plus hours for a 7 lb butt. I pulled it. Wrapped it in foil and 2 big towels and put in the ice chest to rest. I'll get up in a few hours. And put in the fridge . Is 1045 pm.I'm in bed typing but...
