Thanks for the point Case...I did the same for my daughter...but my boys I think wanted the challenge of eating the whole thing! lol
Thanks Adam...was actually the first time I served burgers on pretzel buns and although it was not easy cause those suckers were very thick, the family loved...
No worries Paul, your kind words are good enough! Cheers.
LOL, yeah you're probably right. But I am sure a sliced open close-up shot of your stuffed burgers would look mighty fine too! Cheers.
They were quite tasty...could not eat more than one and a half and boy was I ever stuffed after...
Thanks! But might try out a quick grill the next time. Because it was a two low temp smoke the meat came out kinda tough. I much prefer my burgers juicy. But in the end I wanted them to have a nice smoky flavour.
You think I could have the best of both worlds with a quick grill?
LOL Thanks...
I think it was the two pork butts I was smoking to evaluate the differences.
I hear ya on the find the time game when it comes to kids and sporting activities...I think this weekend might be the right time to open mine up.
Cheers.
Congrats on your first smoke! They look real good.
The fun thing about smoking is the learning and getting better at it after every smoke. The guys above gave some great tips to perfect your next smoke...this should help immensely!
Cheers.
Great looking chicken Kevin!
Will always think of you as the Bird-Man cause since I've been hangin around this forum your chicken smokes have been inspiring!
Cheers.
LOL Thanks bud!
Thanks Bruno, most likely going to use my new stuffer that I got at Christmas next weekend...wife was kinda pissed I didn't use it yesterday...but she forgave me pretty quickly after they were done! LOL
Those look amazing Adam!
Do you always do your ribs hot and fast? What grill are you using?
Very curious as to the differences in taste and texture between hot and fast vs. the traditional 2-2-1 method at 235?
Looks good, but am curious as to the benefit of smoking at 160 to start? I can understand the safety issues...but if you set those aside....why would someone want to go lower than 225/235?
Thanks Adam :)
Thanks again David.
Been one hell of a winter...and have been dreaming of smoking under blue sky without a coat on for over 5 months! LOL
Nicely done Bear!
Kept looking at your prime rib smokes last year and never got the courage to try (such an expensive cut of meat).
With a year under my belt...I think I am going to study your posts and attempt it this year!
Well done.
