    Hearing aids?

Mostly dumb on my part since eye and hearing protection were supplied by the company, but most of us skipped the hearing protection.

    Hearing aids?

Years upon years of running chainsaws and brush chippers without hearing protection have given me some degree of tinnitus. I still hear well, but there is a constant ringing in my ears. I am mostly able to ignore it.

Mett - Would you? Could you?

Right there with you! I've seen people eat it with no issues at all, but I find it hard to consider eating raw ground meat.

Mett - Would you? Could you?

I reckon @Brokenhandle has his on crackers, but it was served on a slice of bread at Oktoberfest.

Mett - Would you? Could you?

This is just raw ground meat with onion, salt and pepper, served on a slice of bread as I remember it.

Would I, could I? Maybe after a few beers lol.

Mett - Would you? Could you?

My dad always partook of raw ground beef with onions slathered on a slice of bread at Oktoberfest put on every year by a German club. He loved the stuff, but mom would not let us kids even have a taste.

    Nitrile

Get most of mine at Harbor Freight. May be cheaper sources, but it's convenient to just go there and get gloves.

I figured I should give a follow up since I posted it in the open forum (prostate biopsy)

The main reason I started and continue to update this thread is that prostate cancer is both the most common and most treatable cancer among men, and I expect most of, at least, the more active members in the forum have one.

    Kinders Seasoning

I use some of their rubs, especially their brown sugar rub. I haven't seen the panko blend though. Bet it was delicious.

Already had a couple .......... fatigue, check, seems like a job just to get out of bed some days. That may be over quickly but can go on for months, possibly up to a year. Have noted some minor urinary issues, but they put me on Flomax ahead of treatment to lessen any issues. The issues I've...

The biopsy, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. They ever do that to me again; they best knock me out with a club beforehand! Treatment wasn't bad till about the 4th round. I had my 4th treatment this past Monday and Wednesday morning, felt like I had eaten a pound of ghost peppers ...

Much appreciated, bud! I hope it is gone. It should be but will take a little while to know for sure. Been a bit of a rough ride but the worst should be behind me.

Thanks, Jerry. Given it was caught early, should be pretty much a done deal. 5 rounds of high dose radiation over a couple weeks makes you feel kind of drained, but that should work itself out shortly.

The radiation clinic gave me a certificate for having completed my course of treatment with courage, determination, and good nature (must of got me confused with another patient, lol). They also have canvases of amateur art lining the halls back in the treatment area. They have every patient...

Yeah, I feel pretty much whooped and hope the cancer feels the same!

Lemme see, my butt felt like I'd been eating ghost peppers about Wednesday morning (radiation Monday). If no repeat after today's treatment in a day or so, yes, I'll celebrate just for that!! Now it's down to waiting to see what the treatment did.
Great deal on LEM Grinders!
