Goose Breast with some Q View

another way i have done these in the smoker is to take the breast and using my filet knife going across the breast, slice it into a 1/2 inch thick cutlet, then fill it with cheeses, mushrooms, leeks, pine nuts, and sun dried tomatoes. roll it up and bind it with twine, and pop it into the...

    Whisky ???????

In addition to being a great bra clasp lubricant, it was also very popular at the pond when we held the weekend trash can parties. It was byob, and what ever you brung was poured into the trash can to be mixed with various fruits, usually strawberries, peaches, and melons. Of course vodka and...

Whats your favorit scotch, rye, whisky or burbon.

Bourbon....Woodford reserve when the ducats are readily available. Buffalo Trace or Devils Cut when budgeting. whisky....redbreast Scotch....not for me. I was gifted with a bottle of Johnny Gold a couple years ago....turpentine to my unrefined taste buds.

if you could what would you cook

Interesting thread. Hmm....probably not a carnivore. Karma can come back and getcha......and I can't think of a predator that I truly have a desire to try. Well I guess that's not really true, I've had bear many times, but they are an omnivore aren't they?  Ok to the list to grill/smoke:  1...

    Smoked AVOCADO & MUSSELS!

First time I have weighed in on one of your posts, but certainly a kindred spirit and admirer. The dish looks perfect, but as always I feel the need to wonder and explore. I lived north of you for about 4.5 years so a couple seasonal opportunities to add/change this up a bit have me thinking...

As for those that are not familiar....This is who Woodz and I are talking about: absolutely amazing live. We spent 6 months in Appalachicola 2 yrs ago and caught him a couple times at song writer festivals in the area and once in Jacksonville.  "All we need is one more damn developer tearing...
