I purchased my very first wireless in October of 2024 and it was a ThermoPro TempSpike XR. I used it once and when I tried it a second time the base unit was dead. Nothing. No numbers and wouldn't take a charge. Contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement. The second unit lased about three...
When I first started smoking I tried to do to many different things at once. Do some simple smokes at first until you get familiar with the smoker. Smoked brats are pretty tasty and easy to smoke.
If you are new to smoking it might be best to use what the manufacturer recommends. If there is a problem with the way your food comes out you won't know if it is because you substituted the pellets.
My coffee went up too supposedly due to tariffs also. Retailers can be rascals and will take any opportunity to raise prices if they can blame the raise on someone besides themselves. I remember when unleaded gas first came it. They quit adding the lead to gasoline and charged more money for it.
Tried the Caribou Coffee, Obsidian Blend dark roast this morning. Not man enough to handle it. Not bitter but just too strong. On the other hand I really like the Caribou Coffee, Caribou blend. I really like it.
Anyone got huge hands like mine? Everything I have tried has been to small. I ordered these for delivery for tomorrow. Hopefully they fit. Got chicken wings to smoke tomorrow...
The strongest I have tried (and I haven't tried many) is Caribou Coffee, Caribou Blend. It's a medium roast and it's the best flavor I have tried so far. It's pretty strong. Got some Caribou Coffee, Obsidian Blend coming tomorrow. It's a dark roast.
Our Kuerig is only about three weeks old. Purchased when our Cuisinart K-Cup bit the dust after less than a year. I checked out the EZ-CUP but unfortunately our Kuerig requires a filter with (5) holes in the lid and the EZ-CUP only has one hole.
We have a Kuerig K-Cup. Wife really likes the K-Cups. Filter cups for ground coffee are available and that's what I use. I use 6 oz water per filter cup. I am grinding whole bean coffee now which I much prefer.
I quit drinking regular Folgers for a little while because it started tasting bitter to me and it didn't seem to have any flavor going for it other than the bitterness. I have tried a few stronger higher quality coffees since then and am getting much more flavor without the bitterness. I would...
So I retired a while back and after drinking Folgers made in a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker for 50 years went on a quest for something better. Bought a Kuerig (K-Cups and/or ground coffee.) Big improvement. Wife loves the K-Cups. Been buying whole beans and grinding them at home. Tried a few...
