    Griddle top is peeling

Yea that's what I done. The stuff I watched said to put a thin layer of oil on it once it cooled off to keep it from rusting?

    Griddle top is peeling

Ok thank you! I had to replace the regulator a few weeks ago. So now if I can 2 of the burners to light that sounds like a plan. This thing is becoming a PITA lol

    Griddle top is peeling

Hey guys, I have a blue rhino griddle. Got it this summer from my grandparents because they bought it a few years ago used it twice and didn't like it. So they let it sit on there porch for a few years with no use. Anyhow I brought it home took a wire wheel on the drill cleaned all the rust off...

I dont use the water pan. It's in there but I just leave it empty and put a big drip pan under whatever I'm cooking to catch the mess

    Fall Pork Butt

Sorry with the late pics. Getting flooring laid this week so have been busy getting ready for it. Turned out pretty good. Ended up probe tender around 205°. I'm not a big fan of BBQ sauce. Does anyone have a finishing sauce that they like that isn't a heavy BBQ sauce?

    Fall Pork Butt

IT @190°. Still chugging along at 275°. Really impressed with how well it holds temp. I have had to open the bottom up a bit as the charcoal I starting to get low. But I couple small adjustments and right back to 275°

    Fall Pork Butt

Finally have a nice cool Fall weekend in store so decided to use the WSM for the 2nd time since I bought it earlier this summer. Injected the butt last night and rubbed it down. Wrapped it in a foil pan and put it into the fridge. Got the WSM dialed in at 275° and at 730am the butt went on. Was...

    Smoke Vault vs Pellet Smoker

If you like smoke flavor I'd stay away from pellets all together. I have a Recteq 700 that's I've used 3 times all summer. One cook was a pork butt the other 2 were chicken. I've prolly used my 26" kettle 4 times a week all summer long. Smoked ribs, pork but and chicken on it. Super easy to...

    Now what?

I have a recteq and it always has TBS. The cheaper ones I've owned have the white smoke but not with the recteq

    Now what?

I have a recteq. But depending on what kind of smoke flavor you are looking for you're not going to get very much with a pellet smoker. I use a 26" weber kettle for both grilling and short smokes. Then a WSM for long smokes. I'll use the pellet grill for chicken since it doesn't take much smoke...

    Disinfecting griddle

Lol I have a soft stomach. This morning I had my mind made up it was going out for the trash. Then the longer I though about it I decided to suck it up and clean it. I'll wait for the inlaws to come over and cook them some hibachi. All eat a hotdog. After that initial cook I'll feel better about...

    Disinfecting griddle

I've been remodeling the house so I haven't been doing much other than grilling on the kettle. This morning I decided I'd take some time and cook breakfast on the griddle. I opened up the grill only to find a mouse staring at me with a partially built nest and dropping all over my griddle top...
