The older the cheese gets the better in my opinion. I always toss on two or three blocks of store brand Monterrey Jack when I'm smoking cheese and don't touch them for at least 9 months. It turns a 2 dollar chunk of cheese into something amazing. Next time I am gonna do at least 4 chunks if not...
Hey All!
I have a small plum tree in my yard that needs to come down due to some fungus issues. It is not very healthy anyway and our tree guy said they rarely come back from this fungus issue. Wish I could remember what the fungus is but I don't recall. I've researched here and it seems that...
That's a nice looking boat! Good luck getting it running! The varnish has held up pretty well on my canoe considering it's spent the last 25 years stored outside in Arkansas. It will need a good sanding and a new coat of varnish but the fiberglass didn't de-laminate which was my biggest worry...
Got a new toy coming my way. I remember my dad cooking turkey on this thing when I was a kid and since I'm 51 now I guess this could be considered a family heirloom. The rotisserie and all the other accessories are newer and I'm looking forward to having a charcoal grill back in the house. I...

I'd use it in my smoker, on my grill and in my oven at home. I could use a new thermometer setup. I am in the USA in the Minneapolis area of Minnesota. Thanks!
I use old plastic pickle jars from the school I work at. I just ask the lunch ladies to hold them for me and in a week or so they have 4 or 5. You can see them on the cart in the bottom shelf in this picture. They hold 5 pounds of pellets perfectly.
That's just down the road from me (about 30 minutes) and I missed it! I'll have to try and remember for next year. I just looked it up and they only charge $5 a pound. What a deal!
This guy did one and the results are pretty interesting. He's got two YouTube channels that are pretty entertaining and informative. One on Sous Vide and this one for all his other cooks.
