Knew if forgot to add something.
Called Masterbuilt and they told me they couldn't help as I would have to buy the whole body, whatever that means. They couldn't/wouldn't sell me just the plugs.
Long story short live in AZ and had a nasty monsoon season. We were gone on a motor home trip for 3 months. Came back home and this is what I found.
It was covered but the cover was in the yard and the plugs are nowhere to be found.
Anyone know where I can find these kind of plugs or some kind...
Rib Eye my fav. Mighty fine job there Bear. Now I got to try that but not till company goes north for the spring. Gonna save that for the wife and I.

Pardon me if I am not answering as you asked it.
On my Maverick the meat probe reads temp at or near the tip. The temp anywhere else in the smoker doesn't have an effect on it.

Nice lookin there. May have to try this myself.
Yeah mine is 25 degrees off low but it seems real consistant. If I wanted I could only get the smoker up to 250 degrees. I use my Maverick to tell temp.
