    awesome man! im gonna try to make some pork jerky myself. Kroger is having a sale right now on pork loins for 1.49 a lb I just bought 3 5 lb loins last day of the sale so I might have to buy a couple more. tomorrow pork butts go on sale for that same price

    you could build a fire box to put on it and make a smoker if you want or if you wanted to keep it a grill you can get some universal burners to put in it and that would solve your flame issue.

    I haven't had any issues with it (knocks on wood) heating wise. I've only had to fix a door leak which was really easy.

    I have a friend who always injects oj in his pork butts and let's it sit overnight. it adds a good flavor and he says the acid helps tenderize the meat. I've yet to have some of his pulled pork I didn't like.

    they came out real good! I used the brisket and some pork rib trimmings. I forgot t add the jalepenos. next batch I want to add those, some cracked pepper and high temp cheese.
