If you want pulled pork that is edible, buy a butt and smoke it. THE LOIN WILL BE WAY DRY IF YOU TAKE IT TO 205.
Ideal loin finished temp is 145, slice it for sammies.
It's a lot easier to start your cook with the best possible outcome than to start it already fighting to make it work.
Hey Mossy, Was not referring to your knowledge of the AMNPS, only meant that he needs to understand the air flow if he uses it in a gas burner or any other for that matter, but more critical in the gasser.

I use mine with a gas burner and electric.
Never had a problem with jumping rows or not enough oxygen for both the gas and the AMNPS. Guess it is understanding how to use it properly. Tube smoker also works well, just a matter of personal preference.
Mike, Fat cap on the bottom, cook until internal temp is 205, foil only for resting in a cooler. Some advocate 225 cooker temp, some prefer higher. I am one who prefers higher, I generally cook the butts at 250 - 275.
No foil cooking develops a better bark on the butt.

Hey Keith, After cooking cut the butt end off getting just a little of the kernels with it, grab it by the top and shake it and the corn falls out the bottom clean of silk and shuck.
