    I also want to brine my turkey and it is 8% injected.... Everywhere I look online, it says that the turkey will be overly salty if I brine with a salt brine. I think even here there are a few that say the same. Will my turkey really come out salty if I brine?

    That's awesome that the temps were so stable... I did a pork butt this weekend and had to constantly babysit it for 7 hours... I am getting sick of babysitting my smoker, I think I'm gonna get one of these and mod it in a similar fashion. Did you have to keep adding fuel?

    First attempt ever!

    So I did add liquid when I wrapped them. I was using apple juice. I was spraying them about every 45 minutes. Taking into consideration what Bacardi said, that may have been the reason why they weren't all that tender. I will make sure to keep the door shut.
