After 30 years we've run out of idea's for gifts for each other. When one or the other of us makes a side comment it usually shows up as a birthday or Christmas gift, so long as it's affordable.
Nice looking spring rolls.
Miso soup is a go-to for us. Easy to make and comforting. Miso made from scratch is a lot less salty then using the miso paste. The tofu looks like it's the medium or firm. We use the medium. The silken can fall apart easily.
Good job!
I Just received a shipment from B&P sealed in a large plastic bag. Once I open it I'll need to deal with storing the rest in a bucket.

A great looking burger!

In any event there's way too much sodium for our taste, and the pre-marinated stuff is a lot...
I am 100% apple these days. Apple seems to play well with all the proteins. Some woods, like hickory and mesquite can seem a bit overpowering with proteins like fish and poultry. But that's just my taste. Others may not agree.
That's a cool ending for the boy.
It's what I like about the game of baseball in particular, in that when bad things happen, good people, and teams, step up.
I also applaud the dad who took the high rode when he gave her the ball, deserving or not.
