    I used a tig welder low amp setting, I tacked the inside first, , I worked from the center out, jumping back and forth between sides top and bottom. Always working center out.     What kind of rods are you burning for the welding? 7014 would be my recommendation, they run very smooth and don't stick like the 7018

    Yep. So I cut my tops at 13.3 degrees off 90. I messed around with a bunch of heights for the top of the CC, 48", 42", 38" and chose 44". I felt it worked and looked proportioned from all angles. I played with the distance from center to find the right one for me, I didn't want square looking...

    They're pretty small for a build, that's just my thoughts, smaller builds are harder for many reasons. It would be a neat little unit. I would go horizontal for both FB and CC.
