Just wanted to post an update on my recovery. Things are getting better slowly but I am making steady progress. I finally got a decent night of sleep last night and am hoping that this trend continues. I am feeling stronger and am confident that within a few weeks I will be back in the game...- JC in GB

Hey all. Not to get into too much detail but I have been having some health issues for the past several months. Ended up in the ER last Monday and am still getting tests done and trying to mount a recovery. I truly hope that I can make some kind of comeback. Just asking for your thoughts...- JC in GB

Proportional or Linear PID control of electric smoker
From my experience, the thermal time constant of the heating element itself makes pulsed versus phased control nearly identical. In short, phased control is simply not worth the extra money for this type of application. My $0.02. JC :emoji_cat:- JC in GB

Could be a defective thermocouple. I have seen that before. Your wiring looks correct so I don't think that is the issue. JC :emoji_cat: -
