    I get mine at Wegman's for $1.49 lb. I picked up 4 last weekend. I almost got a couple today just incase the piglets don't make a come back. According to my wife , the CDC is working on a vaccine for the piggies.

    Welcome from Maryland. This forum is great. All smoking questions can be answered. I just did a turkey this past Saturday , along with close to 40 pounds of butts. I don't use a standard brine, just throw what I feel like that day. It always is salt, sugar, garlic and then maybe some paper...

    Beef Ribs ???'s

    Believe it or not I buy my beef ribs at Wal-Mart. The are nice. I pull the skin off the back. Salt , pepper, rosemary and thyme. That lets the beef taste shine.

    Cole slaw I was looking for a good cole slaw recipe

    Coleslaw is a personal preference. I like creamy slaw, but I found a bottle dressing at Wegman's. It is made from Stonewall kitchens , it is very good. It is a tart slaw. If that doesn't work for you , practice with Dukes mayo and ranch dressing. Mix up something you will like.

    That looks great, Chris. I make mine with sirloin tip . I love the beef at Chaps , their other meats are good too, but I only get the beef nowadays.

    Smoker in the frozen north

    Welcome to the fourm. I hope the weather gets nicer for you to smoke it up. I live in Maryland, and was planning on doing 20 lbs of chicken thighs today. It is raining hard with high winds. I wouldn't bother my meadow creek too much, but it didn't want to be out in the rain. Happy smoking.
