    Any chips or chunks that I have left in my egg, I just mix in with the rest of the lump charcoal, since it pretty much turns to charcoal anyway.

    Haha.  I know what you mean.  I just cleaned it like normal with dish soap.  I'm hoping the peppers don't stick around too long.  That would give the baby a fit if we blended up something for him. I've got the jalapenos in the dehydrator now, so we should have some chipotles in a few hours.

    It's funny you mention it.  I literally just got them out and put them in the food processor.  These peppers got thoroughly dried out in the smoker. Wow wow wow.  This is some serious, smoky heat.

    Looks like we're all finished! The habaneros - These did a great job of drying out.  They don't even need to be put in the dehydrator.  I think I'm going to turn these to habanero dust.  Hoping it doesn't taste too charred.  I'll give it a try tomorrow. The jalapenos are looking good. ...
