Built a DIY PID with an Inkbird ITC-106vh controller. Wondering if anybody has used this on a Masterbuilt 40. I run a AMNPS tray in a mailbox mod . Looking for the PID settings that worked for you. TIA

You can hook a pid up to control the gas flow too. I am including a thermo couple shutoff on mine in case the flame goes out for some reason. I need to finish mine up, caught a bad case of lazy and rather be out on the lake.

Well, when something finally fails and you're ready to buy a new one, do yourself a favor and buy the parts for the old one. The new ones are not nearly as nice as the old ones.
