My name is Huey ,I’m from Texas . I just bought a 250 gallon propane tank,and I’m building my first pit smoker as a new hobby. I need all the help I can get ,especially with the firebox. Tanks 88”x30” . I want to build a insulated firebox, I just don’t know what thickness of steel and dimensions... -

Help with dimensions for insulated firebox
I got a 250 gallon propane tank 88” x30” ,I want to make an insulated firebox ,but it’s my first build ,so any tips would be appreciated. Starting with the dimensions, and then how thick the walls should be for the ceramic insulation- Babyhuey
