Not sure what the cause was for the zip - it wasn't that it was bad, just unexpected - everyone liked them (my neighbor wants me to do them as opposed to my usual grilling at the next neighborhood BBQ - she said some of the best she had ever tried). First time ribs...
Needed to do three racks of ribs on Friday, somewhat unplanned (the wife took them out of the freezer - so needed to use them). Dry rub (McCormick's Brown Sugar Bourbon Mix) with apple juice. Used apple wood in the smoker and the 3-2-1 method. Trimming them was more difficult than I thought...- yankswinagain

I plan on following the 3-2-1 method for some pork ribs. I think I get the process, but here's a noob question for you all... How does the smoke permeate the ribs during the foiling? Or does it not need to and all you need is the low heat to cook the meat? I guess the reason I am asking is -...- yankswinagain

Chunks, Chips, Pellets, Dust?!
Newbie here... I have a Landmann 3895GWLA Two Drawer smoker (with a smoke box) - propane. I know I can use chips in the smoke box, but can I use anything else? Do I need a special box for pellets? Thanks for any help.- yankswinagain

Here's a picture from the Landmann site... my install instructions definitely state two handles with logos and one without. Like I said, not a huge deal (and now that I think of it, it would have been much less work moving forward if I had put at least one of the handles in the right spot...- yankswinagain
