    what are you using as a gasket to seal your lid  as  i see yours looks to  be  ok  mine the  inner flange the  lid sits  on  has a  huge bow  in it  right at the hinge  and  looks  more to  be a design flaw  or a engineering  nightmare ,as there is no way for the lid to sit snugly  on the flange...
