Went to grab a good chicken to smoke yesterday, and couldn't pass up on this fantastic looking brisket...
6lbs because just me, the wife, and a 5 year old! Plus i've never done a brisket before...

used a mesquite wood, and put that baby in a foil pan for the last 30ish...
bird was super juicy... personally I couldn't be happier with my first ever attempt. I was talking with my wife tonight about how this is one of the odder hobbies she thought I had picked up... I have already been exploring the options of purchasing a considerably larger smoker as well!
