    thanks again dutch.  can't wait to do the next batch in the smoker.  think i'll try crushed pineapple next time in an effort to spread out the pineapples if there's no particular reason for using the chunks.   doug

    Hey Dutch, Thanks for this great recipe.  I didn't use the smoker but did them in the oven and the outcome was fantastic.  We served them from our mobile kitchen to a group of office workers and they were a big hit.  We sold out!  Can't wait to do the next batch in the smoker. Doug

    Hi there, I just bought a case of turkeys for smoking and one of the turkeys seemed different in bone structure from the other 3.  Almost seemed a little deformed.  Has anyone else had this experience and should I be alarmed? Also, what can I do with the neck and giblets?  I sure hate to waste...

    humdinger, tried the spiral process this evening on a couple of nathan dogs.  great taste; although i only used some lowerys seasoning salt and cooked them in my smoker for an hour.  i'm trying to figure how to price them so i can make profitable. thanks lots, doug
