    Apple or Cherry in Rhode Island

    I am looking for some apple/cherry/pecan/maple here in Rhode Island.  Can't seem to find anything local then the stuff they sell at HD/Lowes.  Anybody know of a place.  I dont want to buy online and pay shipping, its to much money.  Any help wood be great.

    question about charcoal+ temp control

    Quick question, Today  I filled my charcoal basket up with charcoal and wood, then added lit charcoal to it.  Had my top vents open, and the bottoms open to get it going. It got up to about 300F so I closed the intake vents to try to lower temp.  That didn't work.  My temps were over 300F almost...
