Ok, I have a char-grill with side smoker. I high temp sealed the fire box and the chimney. It was hot yesterday, the grill was at 150 just sitting in the sun. I got a nice hot fire going and couldn't get past 180. Does the gaskets for the firebox and the main lid make that much difference...
Long time procrastinator, time to learn. I have a basic Char-Griller SP with side box. Really want to try brisket. Im going to start with some mods for the air leaks and charcoal basket.
