So apparently this is called "tunneling" and is a known issue with some brands of pellet smokers. A CS rep at traeger told me to keep the pellet level over the yellow sticker and to intermittently mix up the pellets by hand. makes sense to me.
Wonder if a foodsafe wax or oil, lightly applied...
I've had my traeger pro 22 for a month now. Used it 6 times. 5 of those times the flame went out after about 3 hours. airflow is good from the firepot, and the auger is in working order. This is the newer controller that does not have a P setting to adjust. All I can figure is pellets are...
Hey all, new to smoking meats. Just got a traeger pro 22 pellet grill, so far I've made ribs, pork butt, a brisket, and wings. All have come out well. Seemed like a good group here, so, here I am.
